Yang Kong (Vincent)

Dr. Kong Yang is the Ultra-Link Chief Architect of Alibaba Cloud Infrastructure. He is responsible for server architecture, workload analysis, chip customization and bringing core competitiveness into the computing field.

Dr. Kong has built a cluster-level computing performance analysis system that guides data center chip design and system architecture, and is used for workload optimization. He has led multiple infrastructure projects, such as low-latency AI computing acceleration and resource pooling. Currently, his team is responsible for the development of Alibaba Cloud's GPU interconnect solutions, while also driving the long-term roadmap and architectural evolution of AI Infra. Additionally, he is actively involved in the development of the Scale Up open ecosystem.
